Bhagwan (God; the absolute Self) prevails as the Knower of the dukh (suffering; pain; misery); He does not become the sufferer!
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanIf you happen to hurt someone externally, you will start to experience suffering within! Such is the science of the vitaraag Lords (the enlightened Ones who are absolutely free from attachment and abhorrence). If for just one lifetime, you take away the miseries of others, it will make up for the losses incurred over infinite lifetimes!
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanDukh (pain) is itself ashata vedaniya (karma that gives rise to a sensation of pain), the resultant effect of the pain is aartadhyan (adverse internal state of being that hurts the self).
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanWhere aartadhyan (adverse internal state that hurts the self) and raudradhyan (adverse internal state that hurts the self and others) do not arise, it is known as shuddha vyavahaar (pure worldly interaction). Where aartadhyan and raudradhyan arise, it is ashubha vyavahaar (inauspicious worldly interaction). When aartadhayan and raudradhyan prick like a painful thorn, that is shubha vyavahaar (auspicious worldly interaction).
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanMisery will not leave from where there is excessive bad or harmful associations with that which takes you away from the Self (kusang). Whereas happiness will not leave from where there is excessive association with Self-realized beings or spiritual discourses (satsang)!
