If anger, pride, deceit and greed end up arising, let them be. There is no problem even if thoughts of unworthy behaviour arise; do not be alarmed. However, make sure You [the Self] reverse them by doing pratikraman (three fold process of confessing the mistake, asking for forgiveness for it and resolving not to repeat it) for them in this way. That will result in a very elevated level of dharmadhyan (a virtuous internal state of being that prevents one from hurting oneself or others)!
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanEven if you have an atrocious fault, but if you zealously repent for it, if you repent for it heartily, then that fault has no choice but to leave. However, people are not heartily repenting for it, are they? They just apologize superficially by saying, ‘It was my fault!’
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanThe one whose ‘alochana (confession of mistakes), pratikraman (asking for forgiveness) and pratyakhyan (avowal to never repeat the mistake)’ are true (done correctly), he is bound to attain the knowledge of the Self (attain self realization).
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanIs it atikraman [Hurtful karma] if we eat, cut our hair or brush our teeth? No, it is not like that. Anger-pride-deceit-greed is considered atikraman [Hurtful karma]. If you do pratikraman [Ask for forgiveness], they will all go away.
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanWhen you do pratikraman after conflict, the conflict is erased. When you give rise to new conflicts, the energies that had arisen will disappear again.
